The Kagurabachi anime world tour has a finale, and it lands in Japan. The closing event is set for March 25, 2027 at Tokyo’s Kabukiza Theatre, the same venue where the adaptation was first announced. Organisers also revealed the remaining Part 3 stops.
The finale will screen the full first and second episodes ahead of the show’s April 2027 broadcast, with members of the main cast on stage and live viewings planned at cinemas around Japan.
Who is appearing
Three voice actors are confirmed for the finale so far: Taihi Kimura as Chihiro Rokuhira, Tomokazu Seki as Kunishige Rokuhira, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Togo Shiba. Kimura has been the face of the promotional tour, so his presence at the closing night is expected rather than surprising.
Part 3 dates
Before the finale, the tour continues with screenings of the first 20 minutes of episode one in three cities.
- Singapore: AFA Singapore, November 29, with Kimura and animation producer Mizoguchi Kan
- Seoul: December 6, with the same two guests
- São Paulo: CCXP Brazil in December, with the date and time still to be announced
Some stops add stage events with cast and production staff. The earlier legs followed a similar format: a preview reel plus a guest appearance, used to build word of mouth long before the series airs.
A new anniversary illustration
Director Tetsuya Takeuchi drew a new piece to mark the third anniversary of Takeru Hokazono’s manga. The illustration shows Chihiro wielding the Enchanted Blade Enten. Takeuchi is directing the anime as well, and his drawing credits include key animation on Naruto.
The anime and its staff
Studio Cypic is producing, with Keigo Sasaki on character design. The series is set to premiere in April 2027 and will stream worldwide through Crunchyroll.
The cast announced so far now covers the series’ core players: Kimura as Chihiro Rokuhira, Seki as Kunishige Rokuhira, Konishi as Togo Shiba, Miku Itō as Hinao, Miyari Nemoto as Char Kyonagi, and Yūichi Nakamura as Soshiro Azami. We covered the Nakamura casting when it was announced.
Where the tour has been
The world tour started in July at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, then moved through Japan Expo Paris and a stop in Mannheim, Germany. Part 2 later took the same episode-one preview to conventions in Johannesburg and Melbourne, and the anime also screened at Otakon in Washington, D.C. and Anime NYC during the summer.
Why it matters
The unusual part of this campaign is the length. Most anime announce a date, drop a trailer, and wait. Kagurabachi has spent close to a year walking a single episode around the world, treating the premiere as a tour rather than a single event. That approach only works if the show clears its release date without slipping, and the March finale now sits as the last checkpoint before the April broadcast.
The manga’s third-anniversary illustration is also a reminder of how fast this property grew. Hokazono launched Kagurabachi in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2023, and within three years it has a full anime production, a global promotional tour, and a release date. For a title that once arrived with more memes than readers, the schedule itself is the statement.
