Tsukaku Tantei Tsutenji Natsume Ends, Isekai Yurutto Survival Seikatsu to End on November 9

Two manga from Kadokawa’s Monthly Dragon Age are closing out. The magazine’s November issue carried the final chapter of Tsūkaku Tantei Tsūtenji Natsume, and the same issue confirmed that Isekai Yurutto Survival Seikatsu will end in the next one on November 9.

The first series is a team effort. Yasu Hiromoto writes the story and Sayaka Itsuki draws the art. The next ending belongs to a manga adaptation of a light novel, with Yōichi Nishio handling the art on Ayano’s original work.

Tsūkaku Tantei Tsūtenji Natsume

The manga centers on Arata, a boy with a strong intuition, and his meeting with people who have mastered all five senses. It launched in Monthly Dragon Age in September 2025, so its run lasted a little over a year. Kadokawa published the first compiled volume on April 9, and the second volume arrives on November 9, the same day as the other series’ finale.

Hiromoto has another completed series behind him. He and Kubaru Sakanoichi launched Tengen Hero Wars in Coamix’s Comic Zenon in 2021, and it finished with a 10th and final volume that shipped in Japan on March 19. Titan Comics is releasing it in English, with volume four due on December 22, and Coamix puts out an official digital English edition as well.

Itsuki’s credits stretch back further. She drew Marronni ☆ Yell, based on Tochigi TV’s real idol group of the same name, and is credited for the original work on Sakura no Chikai, a 2018 short anime tied to that group. She also drew Mental Model Research, a spinoff of Ark Performance’s Arpeggio of Blue Steel, which ran in Shōnengahōsha’s Monthly Youngking Ours GH from January 2019 to January 2020.

Isekai Yurutto Survival Seikatsu

Nishio launched this adaptation in Monthly Dragon Age in September 2020, giving it a six-year run. Kadokawa shipped the 10th volume on June 9. The final chapter lands on November 9.

Ayano started the original novel in March 2020, with illustrations by Waon Inu, who is credited as artumph. It follows Hokage Shinomiya, a high schooler who dreams of living on a desert island. He and some classmates end up on a mysterious island in another world with no electricity, gas, or running water, and Hokage’s survival skills put him in charge of the group.

Nishio has spent most of his career inside the Dragon Age family. He launched a spinoff of Kenji Saitō and Akinari Nao’s Trinity Seven, titled Trinity Seven -Revision-, in Bessatsu Dragon Age in June 2019. It ran three volumes and ended in September 2022. Before that, he started Ninja Tensei Shinobikill in Monthly Dragon Age in March 2018.

Why it matters

Monthly Dragon Age is losing two titles in the space of a month, both attached to creators with long histories at the magazine. That is normal turnover for a monthly, but it leaves a gap in the lineup heading into the new year.

The timing is notable for readers who collect. Tsūkaku Tantei Tsūtenji Natsume gets its second and final volume on the same day its replacement series ends, so its whole run fits in two books. Isekai Yurutto Survival Seikatsu wraps at 10 volumes, a clean number for anyone thinking about a full set.
